Brief Profile

Mr. Asis Kumar Sahu is an Assistant Professor in the area of Finance and Accounting at the Birla School of Management, Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar. He has submitted his Ph.D. thesis in the Department of Economics and Finance at BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus. He holds an M.Phil. and M.Com. from Berhampur University and has qualified the UGC-NET with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Commerce. Additionally, he has earned the CMA Inter qualification from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).
His teaching interests include Corporate Finance, Security Analysis, Portfolio Management, and Cost & Management Accounting. His research areas span financial markets, behavioral finance, and sustainable finance. Mr. Sahu has published in several reputed international journals, including Finance Research Letters, International Review of Finance, China Accounting and Finance Review, International Journal of Managerial Finance, International Journal of Accounting and Information Management, and Social Responsibility Journal.
