Dr. Poonam is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Financial Technology (FinTech), with a particular emphasis on emerging trends like Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) and Bank 4.0 technologies. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from NITK Surathkal, an M.Com from Central University, Pondicherry. Dr. Poonam has served as an Assistant Professor at Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science and as a Teaching Assistant at NITK, teaching courses in Finance domain. Her research, published in journals like Finance Research Letters (ABDC-A) and International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management (ABDC-B), explores digital transformation in banking and fintech innovations. She is also a UGC NET qualified and proficient in statistical and qualitative data analysis software.
