Birla Global University (BGU), Bhubaneswar hosted its 8th Annual Convocation on 6 December 2025, celebrating academic excellence and student achievement. The ceremony commenced with the traditional academic procession, setting a formal tone, followed by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Kulbhushan Balooni presenting the Annual Report for the academic year 2024–25.
A total of 456 graduates received their degrees, including 228 Postgraduate, 224 Undergraduate, and 4 PhD scholars, along with 17 Gold Medalists honored for academic excellence.
The occasion was graced by Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, Hon’ble Governor of Odisha and Chancellor of BGU; Chief Guest Shri Narayanan Ramaswamy, Partner & National Leader, KPMG India; and Shri P.K. Mishra, Presiding Chairperson, Board of Governors, along with members of the Board and senior administrators.
Addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Governor highlighted education as a lifelong pursuit and urged graduates to uphold integrity, honesty, compassion, and resilience. Chief Guest Shri Ramaswamy encouraged students to build their future around technology, sustainability, and global citizenship, while remaining connected to their roots and contributing to society.
The event concluded with great pride, marking a milestone in the journey of the graduating class.
