ATOS 2026, the annual inter-institutional sports fest of Birla Global University, unfolded over four vibrant days (31st January to 3rd February, 2026) with remarkable enthusiasm, competitive spirit, and seamless coordination. The event brought together students from multiple colleges and institutions to celebrate athletic excellence, teamwork, and the values of discipline and fair play that define university sport.

Day 1 and Opening Ceremony

The fest commenced with an energetic Opening Ceremony that set the tone for the days ahead. The inaugural proceedings were graced by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Kulbhushan Balooni, and the Hon’ble Registrar, Dr. B. K. Das, whose presence added dignity and inspiration to the occasion. Faculty members, staff, volunteers, and a large student gathering witnessed the formal inauguration, which symbolically marked the beginning of ATOS 2026. The ceremony reflected unity, institutional pride, and the collective enthusiasm that would carry through the competition.

The first day witnessed high-energy participation across major outdoor team sports, including Football, Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, and Kabaddi. Matches were held as scheduled, with impressive participation from multiple teams across categories. Players demonstrated discipline, teamwork, and strategic skill, while the organising committee and volunteers ensured smooth execution and adherence to safety protocols. Day 1 concluded successfully, establishing a strong competitive momentum for the fest.

Day 2

Day 2 expanded the sporting spectrum by including indoor and individual sports such as Tennis and Chess, alongside continued fixtures in Football, Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, and Kabaddi. The campus remained lively with spectators and participants alike, as matches grew more intense and competitive. Efficient coordination among officials and volunteers ensured uninterrupted gameplay, reinforcing the spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.

Day 3

Day 3 further intensified the sporting fervour, introducing Throwball while continuing matches across all major disciplines. The atmosphere was marked by resilience, tactical gameplay, and enthusiastic peer support. The organising committee’s meticulous planning ensured smooth transitions between events, maintaining the fest’s high standards of professionalism and safety.

Day 4 and Closing Ceremony

The final day marked the culmination of ATOS 2026, featuring decisive matches across all sports. Participants displayed exceptional determination and sportsmanship, bringing the competition to a memorable close. The Closing and Prize Distribution Ceremony celebrated the achievements of all participants. The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Revered Registrar, Esteemed Deans, and Chairperson of the Sports Committee felicitated winners, runners-up, and special awardees, acknowledging both performance and sportsmanlike conduct. The ceremony concluded ATOS 2026 on a proud and celebratory note, reinforcing inter-institutional bonds and leaving behind lasting memories.
