Birla School of Law, Birla Global University successfully organised the International Conference on Emerging Issues, Challenges, and Opportunities in Human Rights and Freedom of Expression on 30–31 March 2026.
The conference was graced by Hon’ble Dr. Justice Bidyut Ranjan Sarangi (Chief Guest), Shri Asim Amitabh Dash (Guest of Honour), and Prof. (Dr.) Rangin P. Tripathy (Keynote Speaker), in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Kulbhushan Balooni (Vice Chancellor) and Prof. (Dr.) B. K. Das (Registrar).
Bringing together distinguished academicians, resource persons, and participants from across India and neighbouring countries, the conference featured over 60 research paper presentations, fostering meaningful dialogue on contemporary challenges in human rights and freedom of expression.
The event reflects the continued commitment of Birla School of Law to advancing academic discourse, critical inquiry, and collaborative engagement on issues of global relevance.
