Brief Profile

Dr Rajashree Nayak is working as an Assistant Professor at Birla School of Applied Sciences at Birla Global University (BGU), Bhubaneswar. Prior joining to BGU Dr. Nayak was working as an assistant professor in Centre for Data Science, JIS Institute of Advanced Studies and Research (JISIASR), JIS University, Kolkata and Assistant Professor (Adhoc) at NIT Meghalaya. Dr. Nayak has completed Ph.D. from NIT Rourkela and M.Tech. from VSSUT Burla. She is having more than 6 years of experience in teaching and research at reputed institute of national importance in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Image Processing, Biomedical Image Analysis and Signal processing etc. She has developed efficient AI enabled methodologies for Medical Image Analysis, Obscene Content detection in Social Media, Biomedical Image Registration, Super-resolution Image Reconstruction and Image Forgery detection etc. She has extensive expertise in MATLAB and Python for various Machine Learning and Deep Learning applications. Dr. Nayak has published 30 number of research articles in several SCI and Scopus indexed journals of international repute, book chapters and international conferences. Dr. Nayak served as session chair and TPC members of many international conferences and also awarded as the best researcher award. She is serving as a potential reviewer for many reputed journals.
