Brief Profile

Dr. Rojalin Sahoo is a faculty in the area of HR, IR and OB at Birla Global University. Prior joining BGU she worked as an assistant professor in ASBM University, Bhubaneswar. She has done her Ph.D in Management (Human Resource Management & Employee Relations) from the School of Management, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela. Her thesis work focused on exploring the impact of employee relations on decent workplace and employee engagement in power sector undertakings. She has published several research articles in high-quality indexed journals, including SCOPUS, SSCI/ESCI, ABDC and UGC Listed journal. Towards her credit, Dr. Sahoo has received the doctoral fellowship award by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. The research areas that capture her interest are employee relations, decent workplace, managing conflict and change, employee engagement, and human behaviour and work. She likes to deliver her teachings through Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Industrial Relations, and Labour Legislations.
